Queens of Pop Rock and Roll into Blackpool
The Rihanna, Kary Perry and Adele wax figures have now left Madame Tussauds Blackpool
Roll out the red carpet – pop royalty has just arrived as Adele, Rihanna and Katy Perry take up residence at Madame Tussauds Blackpool.
It’s not every day music lovers get the opportunity to come face-to-face with their idols let alone three in the same room. But now, the pop heavyweights are taking time out from their jet-set lifestyles and international tours as they find solace by the sea.
Boasting seven BRIT Awards and 17 Grammy Awards between them, the three global superstars are amongst the most successful musicians of all time. Famed for making some of the biggest hits of the 21st century the divas are set to leave fans star-struck as they get up close and personal with the wax figures.
From the powerful vocals of Adele and the playful antics of Katy Perry to Rihanna’s Bajan beauty, these three have the ultimate star quality all of which has been magically captured in wax.
The Adele wax figure wears a recreation of the black lace Clements Ribeiro frock she wore to the 2012 Grammy Awards, Rihanna is dressed in a colourful ensemble inspired by her 2010 music video for “Who’s That Chick” and Katy Perry styles a quirky sequinned dress decorated with lollipops, a dress worn during her 2011 world tour.
Visitors to Madame Tussauds Blackpool will now be able to join their heroines on stage and capture the selfie of the century.
Matthew Titherington, General Manager at Madame Tussauds Blackpool said: “We’re delighted to welcome the three pop powerhouses to the attraction. They’re some of the biggest names in music so we’re expecting fans to go wild for the girls.
“The figures will be on show throughout the summer holidays so it’s a perfect time to visit for our unique celebrity experience.”
