Wolverine has now returned to Madame Tussauds London.
To celebrate the launch of Wolverine, the latest Marvel figure to take up residence at Madame Tussauds Blackpool, the famous attraction is hosting a Super Hero party to welcome the X-Men hero to Blackpool.
On Saturday 3 August, children who dress up as their favourite Super Hero will receive free entry to the attraction, when accompanied by a paying adult.
The party will run all day from 10am to 4pm and include free Super Hero face painting, party snacks and games.
Brought to life in the X-Men films by Oscar nominated Hugh Jackman, the figure was crafted by the experts at the Madame Tussauds studios and cost £150,000 to create. The figure was first created in clay and then set in wax before each hair was individually attached, skin colour applied and the figure is dressed and ready to meet his public.
General Manager of Madame Tussauds Blackpool, Matthew Titherington, said: “Wolverine is such an iconic character and one the public have a real affection for, as you can see from the numbers who go to see his films. We’re really looking forward to welcoming his fans in fancy dress and can’t wait to see their outfits!”
