2008: Announced as a judge on The X Factor
2009: Girls Aloud won Best British Single at the Brit Award for ‘The Promise’ and announced a hiatus
2009: Cheryl released her debut single ‘Fight for This Love’ – charted at number one, as well as released her debut album
2009: Became the new face of L’Oreal
2010: Cheryl was the opening act for Black Eyed Peas for their British shows
2010: Released her second studio album 'Messy Little Raindrops'
2012: Third studio album 'A Million Lights' was released
2012-2013: Girls Aloud reunited for a Greatest Hits Tour, followed by confirmation the band had split for good
