• Jeremy worked as a salesman for almost a decade before getting his break into radio presenting. His shows, which aired on stations including Capital Radio and Virgin Radio, involved live phone-ins about relationship issues
• In 2005 he made the move to TV with his first series of The Jeremy Kyle Show, on which guests attempt to deal with issues in their lives
• Jeremy is famous for his confrontational style, which often leads people to outbursts of emotion and even violence... After one guest head-butted a love rival, the judge sentencing him described the show as “a human form of bear-baiting”
