Born and raised in South Dakota, Hart joined “Entertainment Tonight” in its second season and has been a steady presence at the anchor desk ever since, interviewing most of the world foremost entertainers, personalities and newsmakers.

She is also the recipient of many awards, including the prestigious “Gracie Allen Award,” presented by the American Women In Radio & Television (AWRT).

A decade ago, Hart was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable “Hall of Fame.” She is also a passionate supporter of numerous charities and sits on the Board of Trustees for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and is a long-time ambassador for Childhelp USA.
