Madame Tussauds - Hong Kong

Pepsi Star Louis Koo

HONG KONG (March 4, 2009) – Pepsi Star Louis Koo made his debut at Madame
Tussauds Hong Kong today as a shining blue knight, marking the first time that the
celebrity’s futuristic-themed wax figure has appeared in the city.

For the next three months, Louis Koo or rather his incredible wax likeness will dazzle
guests and fans alike at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, where he is on loan from its
sister attraction in Shanghai.

“As a renowned Hong Kong movie star, Louis has had an illustrious career across the
Asia-Pacific. We are thrilled to welcome Louis to the ‘world famous home of the
famous’ and are pleased to feature him in his home city for the very first time. Our
event was made even more exciting today, with Louis himself appearing to unveil his
wax figure,” said Bret Pidgeon, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong
and Shanghai.

Louis Koo’s wax figure sports a body-fitting metallic blue and white costume that
conjures up images of a futuristic knight in shining armour. With his gleaming blue hair,
the inspiration behind Louis’s wax figure came from his high energy Pepsi
commercial.

Commenting on his Hong Kong debut, Louis said, “My wax figure’s ultra cool look and
style were created during a joint project with Jolin Tsai, Alan Luo, Lee Jun Ki and
Huang Xiao Ming. As a collector of life-size figures, I am thrilled to be able to
transform into a magnificent futuristic blue knight. It feels great to be a hero!”

Louis Koo’s wax figure will be located in Music Icons.

First appearing in January 2007 and created in partnership with Pepsi, Louis Koo’s
wax figure is one of five Pepsi celebrity spokespersons featured at the Pepsi Studio at
Madame Tussauds Shanghai.
