Meet the Historical & National Heroes
"Historical and National Heroes" is a contemporary yet classic room where guests can meet some of the world's most famous historical and political leaders and icons from the worlds of Science and the Arts.
Guests can be the centerpiece in a portrait of the British Royal Family; obtain an official seal of approval from George W. Bush as they address the nation from the presidential podium; or stand alongside President Hu Jintao as he steps from his plane to the rapturous applause of the welcoming committee.
Guests will become part of history as they take pictures with some of China's most notable leaders in a permanent exhibition specially created to mark Hong Kong's anniversary. The unprecedented gathering features revolutionary Dr Sun Yat-Sen; Marxist military and political leader Mao Zedong; prominent leader of the Communist Party of China, Zhou Enlai; the pioneer of China's economic reform Deng Xiaoping; Premier of the State Council of the PRC Wen Jiabao; and China's first astronaut to enter space Yang Liwei: each a leader in their field, chosen for their great impact on China's history.
And for the first time ever, Madame Tussauds features the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive - Donald Tsang - against a spectacular Hong Kong skyline illuminated by fireworks.
