Getting to Madame Tussauds
What’s the nearest tube station?
The nearest tube station is Baker Street. You can get to Baker Street by Jubilee, Bakerloo, Metropolitan, Circle and Hammersmith and City lines.
Are there any drop-off points close by to Madame Tussauds?
There is a coach drop-off and pick up point on Marylebone Road, in front of Madame Tussauds and the nearest coach park is in Regents Park. There are also several nearby car parks.
Where’s the nearest car park?
The nearest car park is the car park on Chiltern Street (0207 486 4509), which is located off Marylebone Road and just 5 minutes from Madame Tussauds.
Visiting Madame Tussauds
How long can I normally expect a visit to last?
It takes around 2 hours to complete a visit of Madame Tussauds, including SCREAM.
Is there anywhere to leave bags?
Due to security reasons, guests are not permitted to leave any bags or luggage at Madame Tussauds. Child buggies and pushchairs must be left at the entrance and can be collected on exit free of charge.
Can I take a pet in to Madame Tussauds?
No animals or pets are permitted into Madame Tussauds. However, we do permit seeing eye dogs, guide dogs and hearing eye dogs.
Can I take a push chair or buggy around Madame Tussauds?
Families with young children are advised that baby buggies are not allowed in Madame Tussauds. Therefore you will be advised to leave your buggy at our left luggage section and use one of our baby carriers, subject to availability (suitable only for babies between 0 and 6 months). Please note that a £5 refundable deposit will be required.
How long can I expect to queue to get into Madame Tussauds?
The queue for Madame Tussauds during off peak season should take approximately one hour. However, please note that queues can take up to 2 hours during the high season. If you wish to enter more quickly you can book your Priority Access tickets either on our website or by calling 0870 400 3000.
Am I allowed to touch the figures?
Yes. At Madame Tussauds you can get up, close and personal with celebrities, icons and historical leaders in a fully interactive experience.
SCREAM
Is there a minimum age restriction?
SCREAM is within the Chamber of Horrors and is recommended for individuals over the age of 12. As this is a very intense experience with live actors and flashing lights it is also not suitable for those with heart conditions and pregnant women.
'How long does ‘SCREAM!’ take?
‘SCREAM!’ lasts for approximately five minutes.

How long does The Spirit of London take?
The Spirit of London lasts for approximately five minutes.
Is the Spirit of London suitable for very young children?
Yes. However individuals under 1.2m must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 or over.

Taking photographs
Can I bring a camera?
Cameras are allowed in all areas of Madame Tussauds apart from the Spirit of London ride and SCREAM. If you are a camera crew and you require to film in our premises please contact our press office for further information (0207 487 0200).
Are there official Madame Tussauds Photographers?
Yes. There are photograph opportunities throughout Madame Tussauds to ensure you take home an everlasting with your favourite celebrity. Photograph collection points are located throughout the attraction.
Can I buy photographs at Madame Tussauds?
Yes. You can also purchase mouse mats, key rings, mugs and glass cubes. Photograph collection points are located throughout the attraction.
Disabled access
Can I bring a guide dog, eye or hearing dog to Madame Tussauds?
We do permit seeing eye dogs, guide dogs and hearing eye dogs.
Do you offer special rates for disabled guests?
Admission for guests with disabilities is £12 and one helper is welcome without charge to our attraction. These guests, will be asked for some kind of proof at the entrance such as a letter/notice of entitlement for Disability Living Allowance, a letter/notice of entitlement for Invalidity Benefit or a Freedom pass with a 'D' on it.
For safety reasons, we are strictly limited to a guest capacity limit within our building and if you use a wheelchair, it would be advisable to book this in with our Customer Service Department on 0870 400 3000 in advance.

Do you do a special rate for school visits?
We have a school rate for UK schools of £8 per Primary school child and £9 per Secondary school child . One teacher for every 5 Primary school children goes free and one teacher for every 10 Secondary school children goes free. Any additional teachers pay £18.
Madame Tussauds also runs a school show called Studio Secrets for Key Stage One and Key Stage Two pupils on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for up to 250 Primary school children for £8 each. If you need any more information on this please telephone our call centre on 0870 400 3010.
How do 2 for 1 promotional tickets work?
Ticket promotions that give you a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket are always based on the full price adult ticket however exclude admission to SCREAM. An additional fee is payable for admission to SCREAM. These promotions are only valid with tickets purchased on the day and not tickets booked in advance. Please check the promotion's terms and conditions carefully prior to your visit and ensure you bring a valid voucher on the day of your visit.
How many people does a family ticket cover?
A family ticket consists of 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children.
Are ticket prices cheaper later in the day?
Our ticket price is cheaper from 5pm. Last admission is at 5.30pm (6pm during holidays and weekends) and this gives enough time to see the attraction, however please note that some of the experiences inside Madame Tussauds begin to close at 6pm.
How does a combined Madame Tussauds, London Eye and/ or London Dungeon ticket work?
If you purchase a combined Madame Tussauds/ London Eye and/ or London Dungeon ticket from Madame Tussauds, the time of your entry is for Madame Tussauds. On arrival you will be given your ticket for the London Eye and/ or London Dungeon which you can use before the 'valid until' date which is 30 days from the date of visit to Madame Tussauds.

What credit cards do you take as payment?
On our web site and our credit card booking line 0870 400 3000 we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Switch and Delta. Please note that we do not accept Solo or Electron.
Can I pay by cheque?
We do accept company and UK school cheques made payable to "Madame Tussauds" for advanced bookings only.
Do you accept the Euro?
We accept the Euro (notes only) within admissions if purchasing a ticket, and in the gift shop.
Do you accept US Dollars?
We accept US Dollars traveller's cheques within admissions if purchasing a ticket

Can I purchase gift vouchers?
VIP tickets are available for Madame Tussauds which are valid for a year and include a guidebook and wax hand. These make an ideal present!
Our Annual Pass can also be a great gift. An annual pass can be purchased by calling 0870 400 3000 or by booking online.
Are you able to offer charity donations or raffle prizes?
Because we receive so many requests for donations to school fetes and fundraising events, we have to limit the number of free tickets we give out. As part of Merlin Entertainments, Madame Tussauds only supports charities through Merlin’s Magic Wand Children’s Charity. To this end we are unable to donate tickets direct to schools and organisations.
