Madame Tussauds celebrates an exciting new addition to its A-list line up as wax figures of Johnny Depp portrayed as Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean's" Captain Jack Sparrow, arrived at nine of its attractions, including New York, on May 12th!
In true pirate style, the arrival was something of an invasion as the stunningly realistic wax figures appeared in iconic waterfront locations in cities around the world. Setting sail for the shores of New York City, the maverick swashbuckler turned up aboard the Staten Island Ferry as he made his way to Madame Tussauds New York.

It took 3 months to transform Johnny Depp into his Pirate's character. A dedicated team of Madame Tussauds Studio Artists replicated the distinctive look down to the last detail, from braided hair and bejewelled fingers to colorful costume and trademark bandana.
