Jimmy Barnes meets Jimmy Barnes for the first time

Australian rock singer-songwriter Jimmy Barnes enjoys a family day out in Darling Harbour

Australian rock singer-songwriter Jimmy Barnes recently visited both Madame Tussauds Sydney and SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium with his family.

Jimmy enjoyed both attractions with his daughter Mahalia Barnes, as well as his grandchildren Ruby (Mahalia’s daughter) and Leo (David Campbell’s son).

Standing side by side with his wax figure for the first time, Jimmy was impressed with the likeness, and commented on the figure’s leather trousers which were donated after his Cold Chisel V8 Supercars performance at the ANZ Stadium in 2009. Jimmy also asked Maton Guitars to make a replica guitar, which was also donated to Madame Tussauds. Often referred to by guests as extremely lifelike, Jimmy Barnes’ wax figure is a popular addition to the music zone at Madame Tussauds Sydney.

Jimmy and his family also enjoyed the sharks and the dugongs at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. Both his grandchildren were visiting for the first time and loved the huge variety of marine animals at the attraction.
