Global icon, superstar, entertainer and multi-talented singer-songwriter, Lady Gaga is equally known for her wild, theatrical flair and statement outfits. Lady Gaga made a name for herself through performances at age 14 on New York’s Lower East Side club scene. At 17, she was granted early admission to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She was signed by her 20th birthday and writing songs for other artists including the Pussycat Dolls. Gaga’s stage name is inspired by Queen’s song “Radio Ga Ga” who she lists among her idols as well as David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Donatella Versace. Gaga herself featured on the cover of TIME magazine’s TIME 100 issue, listing her as the most influential Artist of 2010. Her debut album, The Fame (2008) reached number one in the UK, Canada, Austria, Germany and Ireland. Its first two singles, "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" became international number one hits. The album earned six Grammy® Award nominations, and won awards for Best Electronic/Dance Album and Best Dance Recording for "Poker Face". Lady Gaga is styled wearing short black Orschel-Read trousers combined with a top, plus thigh high patent boots and black lightning stripe make up over one eye.
