Madame Tussauds Sydney presents and exciting international flavour line up for 2013

Madame Tussauds Sydney is always changing and in 2013 there will be plenty of famous personalities to meet from around the world at the Darling Harbour attraction. As well as a number of Australian and international stars that are still being kept in the “top secret” file, there will also be an exciting international flavour with some of the leading icons from China, Hong Kong, Korea and India set to join the famous line up throughout the year.


From February 2013, guests will have the chance to serenade the crowd with Chinese superstar Andy Lau. Widely recognised as the king of Canto-pop, Andy Lau holds the world record for the most Canto-pop awards won by a male artist and has released over 100 movies and 80 albums during his amazing career.


In April 2013, guests will be testing their cricket skills against cricket hero Sachin Tendulkar as he takes up permanent residence alongside Australian cricket greats Don Bradman and Shane Warne. Mumbai born Sachin Tendulkar has recently received the order of Australia for his outstanding contribution to international cricket, and is widely considered the greatest batsman of all time after Don Bradman. Another world record holder, Sachin is recognised as having played the highest number of test and one day international matches.


Top Secret! Arriving to the music zone of Madame Tussauds Sydney in May 2013 is a Korean wax figure yet to be revealed, however this international figure, which will be featured for a limited time only, is set to wow both local and international guests alike.


Guests can also look forward to striking a kungfu pose with the world’s best known kungfu film star, Bruce Lee, in August 2013. This action movie legend will be on display in Madame Tussauds Sydney’s film zone for a limited time only, having earnt his place amongst the stars after appearing in over 20 movies as a child and of course starring in his most famous movie of all, Hollywood production ‘Enter the Dragon’.
