Presidential Candidates Face Off in Clay

Let's Get Ready To Rumble!

Clay head face off between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama

Capturing the ‘going head-to-head’ atmosphere of the upcoming 2012 Presidential Debate, The Presidents Gallery by Madame Tussauds unveiled photos featuring clay-head molds of the two presidential candidates, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, facing off.

A fitting image for the upcoming election, we'll also be holding our first ever Kid’s Election Day on Saturday, November 3 from 7-10 am, providing children with the chance to let their voices be heard and learn about the election process in a fun and entertaining environment.

Our face-off photo of the candidates is an ideal visual representation, foreshadowing the battle that the nation is anxiously waiting to see during the upcoming presidential debate. As we enter the final stages of the 2012 elections, we also felt like this was the perfect time to engage our young guests and help get them excited about the elections by giving them the chance to learn more about the process in an interactive and entertaining way.

At the event, kids will enter the Presidents Gallery by Madame Tussauds—home to wax figures of all 44 U.S. Presidents—and register to vote at mock Virginia, Maryland and DC tables. From there they will step into an authentic voting station to decide whether Mitt Romney or Barack Obama should be the next president, just days before the rest of the country votes. The final vote tally from the event will be released ahead of the official Election Day (November 6), proving that kids have a voice too. After voting, all children will receive a free “I Voted” sticker to wear proudly and will also have a chance to view and purchase their own voter registration photo. The Be With Me Playseum will provide interactive demonstrations and activities for people of all ages and The Presidents Gallery by Madame Tussauds will also have face painting and many other presidential election themed activities for kids to enjoy. Admission for children 12-years-old and under is free, and for those 13 and up, just $10.
