Kids Election Day at Madame Tussauds Washington, D.C.

First Ever Kids Election Day

Kids choose the next President of the United States!

Kids, choose the next President of the United States! For our first ever “Kid’s Election Day,” The Presidents Gallery by Madame Tussauds opened our doors on Saturday, November 3rd as the only place for kids to cast their vote and make a difference!

From 7-10am on November 3rd, kids registered to vote at our Virginia, Maryland and DC tables then stepped into our authentic voting station and decided whether Mitt Romney or Barack Obama should be the next president before the rest of the country! The final votes were then tallied and announced ahead of the official election date, November 6th, proving that kids have a voice too. With an incredible 80% of the vote, kids decided that Barack Obama will have another 4 years as our country's leader!

The Presidents Gallery hosted a forum for live debates, allowing you to voice your opinion and convince your fellow Americans who should be the next President of the United States. After voting, all kids received a free “I voted” sticker to wear proudly and also had a chance to view and purchase their own voter registration photo! The Be With Me Playseum provided interactive demonstrations and activities for people of all ages, and The Presidents Gallery by Madame Tussauds hosted face painting and provided many other presidential election themed activities.
