No, all tickets can be purchased upon arrival at the admissions counter.

Q: How long can I expect to wait to get into Madame Tussauds?
The line for Madame Tussauds during off peak season should take approximately 5 minutes. However, please note that lines can take up to 15 minutes during peak season. If you wish to enter more quickly you can purchase your tickets in advance online.

Q: Can I take my baby stroller to Madame Tussauds?
Yes, the attraction is stroller accessible. If you prefer not to bring the stroller through the exhibit, please speak with a Madame Tussauds hospitality host. Please note Madame Tussauds DC is not responsible for any lost, unclaimed or damaged property.

No animals or pets are permitted into Madame Tussauds DC. However, we do permit guide dogs for the visually-impaired and hearing dogs.

No, eating and drinking are not permitted at Madame Tussauds. All guests will be asked to finish any food or beverages before entering the attraction. Concessions (i.e. soda pop, candy, water, juice, etc.) are sold in the attraction.

Q: Can I pay by check?
We only accept checks for group reservations booked in advance. Groups must be paid in full 3 weeks prior to arrival date. Checks must be made payable to “Madame Tussauds.”

Q: Do you accept the foreign currency?
No. We accept cash (U.S. Dollar), credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover), and travelers checks.

Q: Does Madame Tussauds offer a discount for groups?

Yes. A group is considered 10 or more and we have special discounted rates for groups that book in advance as well as walk up groups. If you are planning a group visit and would like to book in advance please call 1-866-823-9569.

Q: Can I purchase gift vouchers?
Yes! We offer gift certificates for purchase at our admissions counter.
