Well known statement: ‘Knowledge will take you from A to B, imagination can take you anywhere’
‘I am not particularly clever, but I am incredibly curious’. This statement is characteristic of the modest man who is still seen as one of the biggest geniuses ever. Albert Einstein was already a world famous physicist during his lifetime. Almost everyone will still be familiar with the legendary E=mc² formula of his revolutionary theory of relativity. However, surprisingly enough, Einstein received the Nobel Prize for physics in 1921 for a different theory. In addition to being a scientist, Einstein also made a name for himself as a campaigner for pacifism and human rights later on in his life. His fantastic one liners like ‘Fantasy is more important than knowledge’ have certainly contributed to his fame. His name is a synonym for striking intelligence, right up to present day times.
