Sean Connery Arrives at Madame Tussauds Blackpool

Sean Connery has now returned to Madame Tussauds London

For a limited time only Scottish star, Sir Sean Connery, arrives at Madame Tussauds Blackpool “from London with love”

Visitors of Madame Tussauds Blackpool were invited to vote for their favourite Scot and not surprisingly were inundated by requests for the former James Bond actor after the figure was recently ‘re-styled’ from the well-loved tuxedo cocktail jacket into a traditional tartan kilt for his 83rd birthday.

With more than 35% of visitors to Madame Tussauds Blackpool coming from Scotland every year, the attraction wanted to “sh’elebrate” their arrival by bringing the Scottish icon to the world famous Blackpool attraction.

General Manager, Matthew Titherington, said, “Last year we welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors to Madame Tussauds Blackpool, and with such a large representation from Scotland, we had to do something special to honour their love of the resort.”
