Survival with the Stars
To celebrate the arrival of the new Bear Grylls wax figure to Madame Tussauds Blackpool, the attraction is hosting a special ‘Survival with the Stars’ presentation event on Tuesday 30 July.
The presentation by ex-Royal Marine John Sullivan, motivates and inspires young people, offering an insight into new cultures, exotic countries and exciting adventure.
The interactive and engaging presentations will take place on the hour every hour between 10am and 4pm and are included in the ticket price to the attraction.
Visitors can hang out with Bear Grylls’ wax figure and learn top tips and hear exciting tales from someone who has faced danger and survived.
John Sullivan joined the Royal Marines at the age of 16, travelling across the world in pursuit of adventure. After leaving the forces he started a company specializing in extreme survival training, working in some of the most inaccessible corners of the globe. John will be demonstrating skills needed to survive in deserts and jungles that are frequently shown by Bear Grylls along with what kit you should use and how to use it.
These presentations consist of a unique roller coaster of images, sounds and amazing tales that encourage young people to follow their own dreams and achieve their potential.
A series of survival presentations and tips will be given by survival experts on Tuesday 20 August, Wednesday 21 August and Thursday 22 August too.
