Dorothy kicks off "The Wizard of Oz" IMAX 3D at TCL Chinese Theatre
In 1939, "The Wizard of Oz" film made Hollywood history by capturing the charming story of Dorothy and her dog Toto getting caught in a tornado, and ending up in the magical land of Oz. Judy Garland, one of Hollywood's most loved movie stars, immediately shot to fame in her role as Dorothy. On September 15th, Madame Tussauds Hollywood unveiled Judy Garland as Dorothy at TCL Chinese Theatre's 75th anniversary premiere showing of "The Wizard of Oz." Formerly Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the movie was the first IMAX 3D movie showing at the newly converted theatre in Hollywood.

Judy Garland as Dorothy can be seen at Madame Tussauds Hollywood wax attraction starting September 19th in the Spirit of Hollywood room.
