Dame Helen Mirren
One of Britain’s most celebrated and best loved actresses, Dame Helen Mirren, came face to face with the launch of her brand new wax figure. Her figure resides in our A-List Party area and has a sophisticated look, dressed in a floor length black dress by Asprey, which she kindly donated. The gown was originally worn at the ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards and is teamed with black six inch heels.
Born Ilyena Vasilievna Mironov in London, her father changed their family name in the 1950’s. Mirren attended a Catholic girls’ school in Southend-on-Sea, before joining the National Youth Theatre in London. Dame Helen Mirren has been nominated for over 115 awards and has won 65 of the nominations.
