Here at Madame Tussauds London we unveiled a stunningly lifelike new figure of Her Majesty The Queen in honour of her Diamond Jubilee. The figure, positioned centre stage in our Royal Area, is the 23rd to be created of The Queen.

Sovereign of Great Britain and ruler of the Commonwealth, Elizabeth’s family have ruled for over 1000 years. She is the head of a royal family famous throughout the world. Elizabeth has risen above recent scandals within her family and though she has no official power, she reigns with dignity and commands respect wherever she goes.

2011: The Queen's grandson Prince William marries Catherine Middleton and is given the title "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge".
2012: The Queen is to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee marking 60 years on the throne. Madame Tussauds London unviels a new figure to mark the celebrations.
