Anderson Cooper Sees Himself "360°"

Anderson Cooper Unveils His Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds New York in Times Square!

Emmy award-winning journalist, best–selling author and now host of the nationally syndicated, daily one-hour talk show Anderson — which launched this week — Anderson Cooper, was literally beside himself at Madame Tussauds New York as he unveiled and posed side-by-side with his new wax figure on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

An eager participant in the creation of his wax figure, Anderson spent more than three hours with a team of Madame Tussauds studio artists, who joined him at the Mandarin Hotel earlier this year to take more than 250 precise measurements and photographs — capturing him from every angle. The team of artists worked over three months to ensure the figure fully captured his unique style, exact eye color, build and overall allure.

Cooper, who will continue as anchor of CNN's Anderson Cooper 360°, has covered virtually every major news event around the world. He has won numerous awards and has captivated audiences with his courageous and compassionate on-the-scene reports of history-making events, including the recent revolution in Egypt, the earthquakes in both Japan and Haiti, as well as the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to reporting for CNN, Cooper is also a regular contributor to CBS'
60 Minutes, for which he has interviewed newsmakers and cultural icons like Lady Gaga, Eminem and Michael Phelps.

The wax figure of Anderson Cooper is just as stylish as the real deal, as Anderson donated the charcoal, pin-stripe Ralph Lauren suit and purple tie, in which the figure is dressed.
