Meet Delta Goodrem

Delta Goodrem is a singer-songwriter, pianist and actress who first rose to prominence in 2002 playing ‘Nina Tucker’ in Neighbours.

She was born Delta Lea Goodrem on 9th November 1984 in Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Delta was named after the Joe Cocker song “Delta Lady”. As a young girl she showed a passion for acting and music, appearing in commercials and impressing record labels with her demo CDs.

Delta’s role on Neighbours helped launch her stellar pop career – her single “Born to Try” appeared on the show and became her first Australian No.1.

An estimated 1 in 20 Australians own a copy of her debut album; Innocent Eyes.

In 2003, when 18 years old, Delta was diagnosed with cancer, and had to put her career on hold while she battled the disease. Since beating the illness, she has been actively involved with cancer charities.

Her figure was sculpted from a sitting on 24th May 2011 and is portrayed from 2011. The dress is also donated by Delta Goodrem.
