Truman was the thirty-third President of the United States.

Truman was the only president who served after 1897 not to earn a college degree. He authorized use of atomic weapons against the Japanese in August, 1945, it was the only use of nuclear warfare in history. Truman was involved in the founding of the United Nations, the Marshal Plan to rebuild Europe, the Truman Doctrine, the creation of NATO and the Korean War.
