• Albert Einstein published many groundbreaking scientific theories during his
career, including the special and general theories of relativity, and the concept of
mass-energy equivalence (E = mc2)
• In 1921 he received the Nobel Prize in Physics for his services to Theoretical Physics
and for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect
• After Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party rose to power in Germany in 1933, Einstein
emigrated to the United States to take up a position at the Institute for Advance
Study in New Jersey. He remained a faculty member there until his death in 1955

Died on 18th April 1955 in New Jersey , USA
