Born as an outcast: "Garona" means "accursed" in the language of the orcs. Her wax figure can now be seen at Madame Tussauds Berlin.
Did you know?
- Garona is half an orc, half a human of mysterious origin. She is trapped in the conflict between orcs and humans, a war by two clashing worlds. Garona is a passionate fighter, her urge to belong to it has made her a courageous survivor.
- Garona's wax figure was created exclusively for Madame Tussauds Berlin - her costume is one of the most elaborate costumes ever made. The chain shirt is unique and handmade. 30 different types of leather were used and the creators paid attention to every detail. To finally reinforce the impression of the brave and combative Garona, the costume had to look old and worn out. For this fact the leather was treated by hand for seven days until all artists were totally satisfied with the result.
- It took 6 weeks to complete the wax head and five employees were involved. It took further 140 hours to prick real human hair on the wax head of the figure to give Garona these typical magnificent head of hair. Garona's wax head weighs 4.5 kg.
