The collection of her awards, whether platinum or gold, is big, but her fan community is much bigger.
- Helene Fischer was born on August 5, 1984 in Krasnojarsk, Russia. Even when she was only two years old, she seized every opportunity to sing for her family and relatives, alongside her sister.
- Her parents, Peter and Maria Fischer, moved to Wöllstein, Rhineland-Palatinate, with their children when Fischer was three years old. That's where she grew up and she finished the secondary school in Wörrstadt, where she participated in the school theater. There, she developed her singing talent and decided to turn her hobby into her profession. Helene applied at the Stage & Musical School in Frankfurt/Main for a three years course in singing, acting and dancing lessons and graduated as a trained musical actress.
- Her first televised performance was a duet with Florian Silbereisen in May 2005, broadcast by the ARD. The audience was enthusiastic. Almost one year later, she released her first album “Von hier bis unendlich”, which turned out to be her break-through. Many TV appearances, more albums and of course awards followed, e.g. in September 2008 the “Goldene Henne” in the Music category as well as two “Echos” in February 2009, for Best German Song and DVD production of the Year.
