Aaron Kwok

He is a singer and an actor, also one of the Four Kings of Cantonpop.

  • In 1990, he became popular because of Taiwan’s KYMCO locomotive advertisement. In the same year, his debut album, Love for You, was released. In 1997, 1998 and 2000, he was awarded "Most Popular Male Singer" of Hong Kong Top Ten Golden Song Awards Ceremony.
  • After 2000, he focus on the film career. In 2005 and 2006, he was awarded "The Best Actor" of Taiwan's Golden Horse Awards with Divergence and After This Our Exile respectively. In 2013, he was awarded "The Best Actor" in British China Image Film Festival with Silent Witness. In 2016, thanks to Port of Call, he was awarded "The Best Actor" in the 35th Hong Kong Film Awards.
  • He is also keen on charity. In 2000, he founded the Aaron Kwok International Charity Foundation. In 2003, he was elected as one of Hong Kong's Top 10 Outstanding Youths. In 2011, he served as UNICEF Ambassador for East Asia and the Pacific.
