Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We’ve been bringing you closer to the stars for over 200 years. Since we closed on March 20, we’ve been working tirelessly to make sure that when we’re ready to reopen and welcome you back, it will be in the safest way possible. ​

This year isn’t what any of us could have expected, but we want you to know that we’ll be here for you and your family as you reconnect in a completely new way. Our team of health and safety experts have created a plan which will enable us to deliver on our promise of keeping your well-being and safety as our top priority.

Some of the measures may be clearly visible to you from the moment you arrive at the attraction and others require consideration from our guests to help ensure everyone has a magical visit. You can find out about the changes we’re implementing here.

Our website and Twitter channel @madametussauds will stay up to date with the latest information on when we can reopen. In the meantime, please see below for queries and existing and future bookings.

Information for guests looking to book tickets and those with existing tickets

If you are looking to make a future booking, or have an existing booking please see instructions and clarifications below which may answer some of your more immediate questions:

  • Guests looking to book future tickets, we are now open for bookings of open dated Standard tickets and selected Combination tickets for later in the year. Should you book one of these tickets, it will automatically be valid until the end of the year (31 December 2020). Once the attraction re-opens, you can visit on a date of your choosing, upon arrival a member of our team will scan your ticket for entry.

  • Guests with existing Standard or Fast Track tickets, if you have booked one of these tickets AND our attraction is closed on the date you intended to visit, your ticket is valid until the end of the year (31 December 2020). You do not need to get in touch with our team to amend your existing bookings. Once the attraction re-opens, you can visit on a date of your choosing, upon arrival a member of our team will scan your ticket for entry.
  • Guests with existing Premium or Royal Tea Bookings, if you have booked one of these experiences AND our attraction is closed on the date you intended to visit, your ticket is valid until the end of the year (31 December 2020). Once the attraction re-opens, you can visit on a date of your choosing.  For these experiences please contact our Guest Experience Team on guest.experience@madame-tussauds.com 14 days prior to when you plan to visit to book you into a time slot.

  • Guests with existing London Combination tickets and promotional offer tickets, if you have booked one of these tickets AND our attraction is closed on the date you intended to visit, your ticket is valid until the end of the year (31 December 2020). Once the attraction re-opens, you can visit on a date of your choosing. If you have purchased a Combination ticket, please refer to the following instructions for each attraction: 
    • London Eye: you don’t need to pre-book a date / time. Simply arrive at the attraction and present your combination ticket(s) to The London Eye team at Entrance A.
    • Madame Tussauds London: you don’t need to pre-book a date / time. Simply arrive at the attraction and present your combination ticket(s) to a team member who will direct you to the entry queue.
    • SEA LIFE London Aquarium: please contact our Guest Experience Team on SLLondon@merlinentertainments.biz 14 days prior to when you plan to visit to book you into a time slot.
    • The London Dungeon: please contact our Guest Experience Team on LDGuestExperience@merlinentertainments.biz 14 days prior to when you plan to visit to book you into a time slot.
    • Shrek’s Adventure! London: please contact our Guest Experience Team on SALGuestExperience@merlinentertainments.biz 14 days prior to when you plan to visit to book you into a time slot.

 

  • Guests with tickets purchased through a third-party, we ask you to contact the company directly. If they require any information from us, please email our Guest Experience Team guest.experience@madame-tussauds.com and we will be more than happy to help.

If the above does not answer your question about existing or future bookings, our team is on hand to help at guest.experience@madame-tussauds.com. As a result of this temporary closure, our guest experience team is helping a much higher volume of guests than normal with their enquiries. Please rest assured our team will endeavour to respond to you as soon as possible.
