Food and Drink

Can I eat or drink at Madame Tussauds?
No, eating and drinking are not permitted at Madame Tussauds. All guests will be asked to finish any food or beverages before entering the attraction. Concessions (i.e. soda pop, candy, water, juice, etc.) are sold in the attraction.

Online Ticket Sales

I did not receive a confirmation email.
If you did not receive a confirmation email, please bring your booking confirmation number that appeared on the final booking screen.

I lost my booking confirmation number.
If you have lost your booking confirmation number, don't worry.  When entering the attraction, alert our admissions staff that you lost your booking confirmation and show them the credit card that you used to purchase the tickets.

Please note, to help eliminate fraud: for all online bookings, please make sure you bring the credit card you paid with along with you. 

Will I receive tickets in the mail?
You will not receive tickets in the mail. Please bring your order confirmation number or email confirmation with you to Madame Tussauds.

Do you accept the Euro or other foreign currency?
We only accept payments in cash (U.S. Dollar),  credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover), and China Union Pay.


How do I use my Madame Tussauds discount coupon?
Each promotion has it unique instructions and conditions. Please read these details in the fine print to redeem your discount. Generally, the offer must be presented to the admissions host at the time of purchase. 

Do you provide a military discount? 
We do offer a discount to members of the military. This discount is available at the box office or through your corporate benefit provider. Please contact your local base ticket office for more information.

Taking photos

Can I take a camera to Madame Tussauds?
YES, we encourage guests to bring cameras, camera phones, and/or selfie sticks to capture memories of their visit.  Cameras are permitted in all public areas of Madame Tussauds . 

Visiting Madame Tussauds

Can I take large bags or luggage to Madame Tussauds?
For security reasons, large bags or luggage are not permitted to be left with Madame Tussauds staff.

Are weapons permitted in Madame Tussauds?
No, no weapons of any kind are permitted in the attraction.

How long does a visit to Madame Tussauds last?
The tour through the attraction is self-guided. It should take you approximately 45 to 60 minutes to complete your tour.

Can I take a baby stroller to Madame Tussauds?
Yes, the attraction is stroller accessible. If you prefer not to bring the stroller through the exhibit, please speak with a Madame Tussauds hospitality host. Please note that Madame Tussauds is not responsible for any lost, unclaimed, or damaged property.

Can I take any animals or pets to Madame Tussauds?
No animals or pets are permitted into Madame Tussauds. However, we do permit Service Animals.

Is Madame Tussauds San Francisco accessible to guests with disabilities?
Yes, Madame Tussauds is accessible to guests with disabilities. Our trained staff will ensure that guests who require assistance are transported safely from floor to floor within our building by means of an elevator designated for this purpose.
