"Linsanity" invades Madame Tussauds San Francisco

August 21 was an exciting day for unsuspecting basketball fans who visited Madame Tussauds San Francisco. Jeremy Lin was visiting to unveil his figure which was recently dressed in LA Lakers gear.

Earlier this year the basketball player, who had his start with Oakland's Golden State Warriors, was signed by the Lakers ending a short stint with the Houston Rockets.

A few hundred visitors to Madame Tussauds were unaware that Lin was in the house. Before they descended the stairs to sports room the attraction covered up Lin's figure and had the athlete stand perfectly still. When they entered they walked up to Lin thinking he was the figure and, once their guard was done, Lin would say "Hello."

The responses were delightful and we'll have video for you in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, please enjoy the video Lin meeting his figure for the first time.
