Red Carpet

#TeamInternet notched another victory when Madame Tussauds revealed the wax figures for YouTube comedy duo Smosh.

It was already a big night for Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla. They purpose of the event was to premiere their new feature length film Smosh: The Movie, but having the wax figures join them on the red carpet was icing on the cake.

"Strangely it's like the most validating thing that we've done," Hecox said of the response they've received. "People are like 'oh yeah, you did the movie, whatever, you have subscribers, whatever, but hold on, you have wax figures at Madame Tussauds'"

A long line of Internet celebrities took turns posing with the figures including Jenna Marbles, Jiff the Dog, Jenn McAllister, and Lauren Elizabeth.

The figures will spend the weekend touring VidCon followed by a trip to Madame Tussauds San Francisco on August 7. We'll be placing the figures in a one-of-a-kind exhibit where guests will be able to star in scene alongside Smosh! After three months in San Francisco the duo will head off on a nationwide tour.

Later in August we'll be hosting an exclusive unveiling of the Smosh figures. If you'd like to be among the first to meet #SmoshWaxed and join us for the San Francisco reveal fill out the form below.
