Madame Tussauds Begins Work on 45th President

Madame Tussauds Begins Work on 45th President

Thursday, November 10, 2016

The six-month long figure-making process began with the sculpting of clay head sculpts for both candidates back in June.  Now that the results are official, the figure-making process for President-elect Donald Trump’s figure will progress into sculpting, molding, and styling phases with a fully completed figure to be completed just in time for the January 20th Presidential Inauguration.

Trump will be the first president to have already had a famed Madame Tussauds wax figure. He conducted a detailed sitting for his previous figure at Trump Tower New York in 1997 where Madame Tussauds artists took hundreds of measurements and photographs for reference.  These assets, combined with updated material gathered by researchers, will be used to create his brand new figure as he re-joins the Madame Tussauds’ ranks as the 45th Commander-in-Chief. #Election2016
