• Comedian, actress and singer Jane Lynch is well known for her character roles in Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003) and The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005)

• Jane’s biggest role to date is as cheerleader coach ‘Sue Sylvester’ on the musical comedy drama series Glee, where she got to show off her singing and dancing talents to great effect. Jane has said that ‘Sue’ is "pure evil and doesn't hide it"

• She earned her bachelor's degree in theatre from Illinois State University and then went on to get her Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre at Cornell University

• Jane has received 1 Golden Globe® and 2 Emmy® award nominations for her television performances

• A team from Madame Tussauds met with Jane in March 2010 at the 20th Century Fox Television Studios in Los Angeles. During the 2 hour sittings hundreds of photographs and measurements were taken in order to create her wax figure
