Accessibility

The majority of our facility and entertainment options are designed to be fully accessible to our guests with impairments. Lifts are available to safely transport our visitors from floor to floor.

For safety reasons, we can only allow nine wheelchair users (three per floor) in the building at any one time; therefore, there may be a wait at the entrance ticket desk. Our staff will be happy to answer questions. For more information, please see below.

Upon notification at the front desk, we allow assistance dogs to enter the attraction.

VR-Experiences

We apologise that both VR Experiences (ski jumping + car ride with Bergdoktor) are not barrier-free accessible.

Special rate

Visitors with reduced mobility as well as their accompanying person receive a special rate. Please note: These rates can only be booked on site and not online!

Accessibility FAQs

Madame Tussauds Vienna does not have disabled parking spaces. We recommend using the Prater Garage instead, which is accessible not far from the attraction. Other paid parking facilities are located around the Prater.

Yes, both the impaired person(s) and the accompanying person(s) will receive a special rate. Please note, however, that these discounts can only be booked on site at the entrance ticket office and not online!

In order for the discount to be granted, proof in the form of a disabled person's ID card must be presented to the staff member at the ticket office.

Please note that tickets for persons with disabilities and their accompanying person cannot be booked online at the moment, but only on site! However, pre-registration for the visit with us is not necessary.

Yes, we have a few disabled toilets. Just speak to a member of staff at the attraction who will help you find the nearest toilet or tell you which areas of the building they are in.

Yes, assistance dogs, including guide dogs, are allowed at Madame Tussauds Vienna.

The attraction of Madame Tussauds Vienna extends over 3 floors. Each floor is accessible by steps. We also have a lift that can assist guests who are unable to use the stairs between floors. Please speak to a member of staff on the day of your visit if this is required.
