Ant and Dec meet their wax figures at Madame Tussauds Blackpool

TV royalty Ant and Dec have been immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds Blackpool as the country’s most famous pair unveiled their brand new wax figures.

As recently recognised by the Queen herself with an OBE, the national treasures make households nationwide laugh presenting some of the UK’s biggest TV programmes including Britain’s Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Dressed by their official stylist, the wax figures have been themed on hit show, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, each keeping it casual wearing a khaki and denim combo. The casual attire is typical of the pair’s style when hosting from the jungle basecamp ensuring they’ll feel at home at Madame Tussauds Blackpool.

The Geordie duo was blown away by the likeness of their wax figures as they got up close and personal with their realistic recreations.

Guests will be able to cross a suspended rope bridge over 30ft in the air to pose with the figures and get a selfie in the replica Bushtucker Trial area at the popular Blackpool attraction.

The creation of a wax figure is a lengthy process and making Ant and Dec’s was no exception. The talented team at Madame Tussauds took four months to perfect the figures. In total it takes an experienced 20 strong team of sculptors, colourists and hairstylists to complete the figures, with each one costing £150,000.
