Handling of Personal Information
Handling of Personal Information in relation to Application for Mail Magazine Delivery
We, Merlin Entertainments (Japan) Limited, shall handle the personal information provided by the customer in relation to online ticket sales and application for mail magazine delivery as follows:

Personal Information Handled on the Site
For the purpose hereof, the “personal information” on the site shall mean name, address, telephone number, mail address and credit card information collected from the customer through the service screen (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information”). -
Purpose of Use of Personal Information
We shall use the Personal Information provided by the customer for the following purposes:
1. To deliver mail magazines and information on our attraction;
2. To process the customer's application for ticket sales and to supply other services associated or related to the service;
3. To manage and maintain the recipient database; and
4. To provide user support service including responses to enquiries.
In the event that we use the Personal Information for any other purpose, we shall inform the customer and obtain the consent therefor. -
Provision of Personal Information to Third Party
We shall not provide the Personal Information provided by the customer to a third party, except for the following cases:
1. Where consent has been obtained from the customer;
2. Where we entrust handling of the Personal Information to an entrustee or a business partner who satisfies our standard concerning the Personal Information to the extent necessary to attain the purpose of use indicated to the customer; or
3. Where we are required by laws and the regulations to provide the Personal Information. -
Entrustment of Handling of Personal Information
In relation to use of the Personal Information for the above purposes, we may disclose the Personal Information to an entrustee or a business partner to the extent necessary as described above.
In this case, we shall impose the obligation not to disclose or divulge the Personal Information to a third party and not to use the Personal Information for any other purpose than provided in the Business Entrustment Agreement on such entrustee or business partner.
Optionality of Personal Information
There are required and optional items in the Personal Information that we request the customer to provide.
A required item is necessary for our service. A customer who does not provide the required item may not avail themselves of ticket sales or various other services. -
Retention Period of Personal Information
We shall retain the Personal Information until the customer requests suspension of use or deletion of the Personal Information or our office determines that we cannot attain the purpose of use, including termination of the Service or any error in delivery. -
Measures for protecting Personal Information
We shall take all reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access to, loss, destruction, falsification and divulgation of the Personal Information, as well as the necessary corrective measures. However, please keep in mind that there exists no absolute technology to prevent unauthorized access.
We shall provide regular education on the protection of personal information to our employees. -
Method to Request Notification on Purpose of Use, Disclosure, Correction or Suspension of Use of Personal Information
We shall respond to a request by the customer to notify purpose of use, disclose, correct, add or delete, or suspend using of the Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Request”).
The customer may conduct the Request of the Personal Information herself/himself.

Use of Cookies and Access Log of Customer
A cookie is additional information transmitted from a Web server to the Web browser of the customer. The customer may block or accept cookies and delete a cookie once accepted on the Web browser.
We use cookies on the site mainly to maintain an access log for the provision of better service to the customer.
We use information collected by cookies, including domain name included in the access log, browser that the customer is using and access time, for maintenance of the site, statistical analysis of the usage situation and problem resolution, but shall not use these information for acquisition of the Personal Information of the customer. -
