Wheelchair users are always welcome at Madame Tussauds. However, due to strict fire regulations, we are allowed to admit two wheelchair users at a time. These fire regulations guarantee your safety. Please therefore always contact us so that we are aware of your arrival. In connection with the wheelchair lift, your wheelchair must meet the following dimensions: maximum length (excluding detachable footrest) 120 centimetres, maximum width 90 centimetres and weight including person maximum 250 kilos.
Can companions visit Madame Tussauds free of charge?
If you cannot move through the attraction on your own, you may bring a companion along. They can enter free of charge. However, the companion will need a (free) ticket and time slot. This must be booked 48 hours in advance via info@madametussauds.nl.
To take advantage of the free companion arrangement, you need to make a reservation in advance. This is necessary because in many cases our colleagues in the attraction cannot judge whether or not you are able to move through the attraction independently.
The free companion ticket is tied to a purchased entrance ticket. You buy this ticket at the box office and receive a second ticket from us for free for the accompanying person. You therefore pay at the box office (and do not buy this ticket online).

How does the application work?
Email info@madametussauds.nl on what date and time you want to visit our attraction. You can request one free companion ticket for each visitor with a (in)visible disability.
The free companion ticket is tied to a purchased entrance ticket. You buy this ticket at the ticket office and receive a second ticket from us free of charge for the accompanying person. You therefore pay at the box office (and do not buy this ticket online).
To prevent abuse of the scheme, we ask you to send a document showing the disability along with your application. (E.g. car pass, disabled parking card, CIZ statement, OV companion pass, etc.) We will confirm your application, which you take to the Madame Tussauds box office.
On presentation of this confirmation, you buy 1 ticket at the box office and we will give you the free companion ticket.
