Health, safety and security are extremely important at all Merlin Entertainments attractions. As a core part of our business, this is our number one priority for our guests and employees. Our procedures have been developed over a number of years with the police and security services and are evaluated annually. Our security measures:

  • SECURITY CHECKS
We take the safety and security of all our guests very seriously and have put in place a range of security measures to protect our guests and staff. We recommend that if you come to Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, you arrive well in time. Our security team is here for your safety. Please cooperate fully with all security checks and support these vital members of our team in carrying out important work to keep us all safe.

  • BAG CHECK
To make your visit as safe, secure and enjoyable as possible, we have implemented enhanced security checks. These include checks on bags and personal belongings of our visitors. Bags and belongings will be searched before you are admitted. This is to ensure that no prohibited items are brought into the attraction. You can then be screened by one of the staff members.

  • METAL DETECTORS & SAFETY ARCHES
It is possible that you take extra safety measures with us, such as metal detectors, safety arches or wall metal detectors.
