J Balvin Figures 1

Get ready to dive headfirst into the heart-pounding world of Latin music as Madame Tussauds New York and Las Vegas just revealed the first wax figures of multi-Latin GRAMMY Award winner, J Balvin. The world’s greatest wax museum turned up the heat when the global superstar himself made a surprise appearance at Madame Tussauds New York to personally reveal both of his wax twins. Fans were seeing triple as they eagerly flocked to snap selfies, while José was able to take an up-close-and-personal look at all the electrifying details on each figure.

J Balvin’s New York figure honors his 2021 Moschino Met Gala ensemble, consisting of an intricately embellished floral 3-piece suit meticulously replicated by Madame Tussauds to match the original set. With a striking bleach blonde buzz cut, this new figure takes visitors back to his unforgettable appearance at the pinnacle of fashion’s calendar.

At Madame Tussauds New York, the figure will live in the newly transformed Music room, part of a multimillion-dollar investment into the flagship attraction, which in recent years has included the expansion of the MARVEL Hall of Heroes, the new Warner Bros. Icons of Horror experience, and a complete reimagination of its party area full of A-Listers called the Glow Gala. Scheduled for completion this summer, the final phase of the Music area will introduce another to-be-announced figure of a globally beloved music icon. In addition to J Balvin, other residents of the reimagined Music zone include Dua Lipa, Beyoncé and Megan Thee Stallion.
