Madame Tussauds Orlando unveils high-flying wax figure of Grammy Award-winning musician P!nk
ORLANDO, Fla. (January 23, 2020) – Madame Tussauds Orlando announces P!nk’s wax figure will join its star-studded lineup on Jan. 23 to celebrate the upcoming 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Simulating one of P!nk’s acrobatic performances, the figure will soar 12 feet above the main entrance and serve as the highlight of Madame Tussauds Orlando’s admissions area redesign.
“At Madame Tussauds Orlando, we want to dazzle our guests the moment they enter our lobby,” says James Paulding, general manager. “With the dynamic addition of P!nk’s figure and a new lighting, display and sound package, the star power of Madame Tussauds will overflow into the The Wheelhouse lobby."
P!nk's figure, which was meticulously created by Madame Tussauds' studio artists, is suspended by authentic, aerial ropes reminiscent of her 2014 tour. Her dynamic figure will feature a long sleeved, sheer-black lace leotard, P!nk's classic rockstar hairstyle and tattoos. The admissions area redesign will roll out the red carpet for guests, with brand-new LED video displays, revamped lighting and music.
To celebrate P!nk’s unveiling, the Wheel at ICON Park will turn pink on Jan. 23. Now through Jan. 26 guests who wear pink and post a selfie in front of the Madame Tussauds Orlando’s entrance using @TussaudsOrlando and #PinkMTO will receive 50 percent off individual attraction admission to Madame Tussauds Orlando, the Wheel and SEA LIFE Orlando.
