A Tradition That Lives On
The techniques used to create our figures today are the same ones Marie Tussaud mastered over two hundred years ago. Marie’s skills were passed down to her son, grandson and even great-grandson before being used by our teams today.
Ready for Their Close-Up
To ensure high standards are maintained, every morning our team of experts inspects every single figure, correcting hair, touching up paint and adjusting costumes to make sure they look their best for every guest!
Created With the Stars
Our figures are created in collaboration with the star, who is closely involved in the creation process. This includes taking hundreds of photographs and measurements, alongside 3D scans, to ensure each figure is as accurate as possible.
Every Hair Counts
For every figure, each individual hair is inserted by hand to perfectly replicate the star’s hairstyle. This meticulous process can take up to six weeks for each figure!
Dressed to Impress
The outfits are just as important as the figures themselves! The team looks for an iconic look that captures a memorable moment in a star’s career. For Taylor Swift, her figure wears a recreation of the Versace outfit she wore during The Eras Tour at Wembley.
