  • As an American film director, screenwriter and occasional actor, Quentin Tarantino’s films include Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997) and Inglourious Basterds (2009). He was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Director for both Pulp Fiction and Inglourious Basterds.
  • He quit school at the age of 15 to go to acting school. Then he quit acting to concentrate on directing. He is quoted with saying: "When people ask me if I went to film school I tell them, 'no, I went to films’.
  • Tarantino plans to make films until he is 60, when he will retire to focus on writing novels and film literature, perhaps settling down with a family!
