15 Years of Madame Tussauds Vienna
- Wednesday 25th March 2026
- Madame Tussauds
On April 1st, we’re celebrating our 15th anniversary—and we’d like to invite YOU to a day packed with exciting activities and highlights.
Since opening, the attraction has continued to evolve: starting with 65 wax figures, the collection has grown to include over 90 personalities from the worlds of music, film, art, and contemporary history. Among them are national stars such as Christina Stürmer, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Andreas Gabalier; international celebrities such as Chris Hemsworth, Zendaya, and Leonardo DiCaprio; as well as iconic artists such as Gustav Klimt, Gottfried Helnwein, and Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
Anniversary promotions and interactive experiences
A diverse program awaits you for our anniversary:
A wheel of fortune in the entrance area offers the chance to win attractive discounts on admission. In addition, a special anniversary photo frame provides an eye-catching spot for social media.
An interactive quiz guides you through the entire exhibition: You answer questions right next to the figures and hand in your completed quiz card at the shop. The grand prizes are two ARCOTEL vouchers, each for two nights including breakfast for two people in a city of your choice (choose from Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, Dresden, Stuttgart, Berlin, or Hamburg).

A look behind the scenes
A special highlight is the “Behind the Scenes” area: From 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., our in-house studio artist will answer questions about the creation and maintenance of the wax figures—a rare opportunity for exclusive insights. Do you have a burning question you’d like to ask our studio artist? This is YOUR chance!
Live entertainment in the Hollywood area
Events will take place throughout the day in the Hollywood area:
- 11:00 a.m.: Talk with Managing Director Arabella Kruschinski on 15 years of Madame Tussauds Vienna
- 1:00 p.m.: Discussion with studio artist Simone Windisch on the evolution of wax figures over time
- 3:00 p.m. & 5:00 p.m.: Dance performances by the Chris Dance School
