For a limited time only: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at Madame Tussauds Vienna
- Friday 8th August 2025
- Madame Tussauds
Actor and former wrestling champion Dwayne Johnson has now made his grand entrance in Vienna – in wax form. The lifelike figure of the action star was ceremoniously unveiled on Thursday evening and can now be admired at the Vienna Prater until the end of September, before the loan returns to its home attraction in Berlin. In line with his tequila brand ‘Teremana’, founded in 2020, the unveiling took place above the rooftops of Vienna at the Sky Bar in the 1st district.
The figure was unveiled by extreme strength athlete and world record holder Franz Müllner, also known as ‘The Austrian Rock’, and professional dancer Herbert Stanonik. ‘He looks great. The smile, his manner, his charisma – you'd think he was the real thing,’ said Müllner. Stanonik was also enthusiastic: ‘I only know him as an action figure, and here he is dressed beautifully and elegantly. The suit looks great.’
The likeness is depicted in a blue floral silk suit, inspired by the outfit he wore at the world premiere of the film ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ in Los Angeles in 2019. His visible Polynesian tribal tattoo, which extends across his left shoulder, upper arm and chest, was painted with oil paint, just like the rest of the figure's body.
Lukas Rauscher, Marketing Manager at Madame Tussauds, says: ‘Dwayne Johnson is a phenomenon who inspires people across generations – whether through his sporting achievements as a wrestler, his impressive film projects or his work as an entrepreneur. We are delighted to be able to present his wax figure to our visitors for a limited time.’
He will be joining the bar in the Hollywood room until the end of September – right next to Leonardo DiCaprio.
