Whoopi is portrayed in her role as ‘Deloris Van Cartier’, a lounge singer from Reno who works undercover as ‘Sister Mary Clerence’ in Sister Act.
Therefore, the character wears a classic nun's habit with a long black robe, white tunic and black shoes – in the style of a nun.
