To celebrate the 70th Eurovision Song Contest 2026, Madame Tussauds Vienna has unveiled a new, exclusive themed area dedicated to the world’s largest music competition. The new section showcases the dazzling history of the Song Contest and invites visitors to immerse themselves in the unmistakable Eurovision world – from legendary performances to iconic winners.

A special highlight is the newly installed wax figures of the Swedish cult band ABBA, who made international music history with their victory in 1974. In addition, two of Austria’s most influential Eurovision winners, Conchita Wurst and Udo Jürgens, are also featured in the new area.

The official unveiling was accompanied by well-known personalities from the Eurovision world, including Kaleen, Manuel Ortega, Kim Cooper, Peter Schreiber and Julia Steen, who attended the presentation.

Arabella Kruschinski, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Vienna, adds:

The new themed area impressively combines the past and present of the Eurovision Song Contest and adds another interactive highlight to the existing portfolio of Madame Tussauds Vienna.
