Rosa Dynamit coming soon to the Prater
Madame Tussauds Vienna is getting ready for a major summer reveal: newly released material today confirms that the very first figure of Schlager sensation Melissa Naschenweng will soon be presented at the world-famous attraction in the Prater.
The 35-year-old singer, who has shaken up the German-speaking Schlager scene with hits like “I steh auf Bergbauernbuam,” “Kompliment,” and “Rosa Dynamit,” worked closely with the studio team at Madame Tussauds. During a three-hour measurement session in mid-October 2025, the highly skilled artists captured every precise detail of the star. From the perfect skin tone to the exact hair and eye color, as well as the correct body height – no detail was overlooked to make the figure as lifelike as possible.
The announcement comes shortly after the TV premiere of her first major leading acting role in the film “Herzklang – Back to Me.”
Melissa Naschenweng in the spotlight!
Born and raised in Carinthia, Austria, Melissa Naschenweng quickly established herself as a major presence in the German-speaking music scene and became especially known for her modern interpretation of folk music.
With numerous successful releases and sold-out performances, she has grown into one of the most defining artists of her genre, gaining a steadily expanding fan base across the entire German-speaking region.
Offstage, she is considered down-to-earth and approachable, with a strong presence on social media and a close connection to her fans.
Naschenweng has this to say about her first wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Vienna:
“When I received the news, I was honestly speechless at first. It’s not something you expect—that I, of all people, Melissa from the Lesachtal, would one day be immortalized at Madame Tussauds. It’s an enormous honor for me and probably the most beautiful recognition I’ve ever received. In that moment, I immediately thought of all the people who have accompanied and supported me along the way. Without them, this dream would never have become a reality.”
Melissa began studying law in Graz before devoting herself entirely to her music career
“She is one of the biggest modern Schlager stars in our country—down-to-earth, immensely popular, and always close to her fans. This was also reflected in our internal visitor survey, where she ranked among the very top. From the moment we started working with Melissa, we could feel how much she appreciates this honor as well. We can hardly wait to complete the figure and present it to our visitors soon.”
Lukas Rauscher, Press Spokesperson at Madame Tussauds Vienna
Which pose and outfit the figure will appear in is still being kept under wraps and will be revealed in mid-June, when Melissa Naschenweng herself will unveil it at Vienna’s Prater. The likeness will join Austrian music legends such as Hansi Hinterseer, Andreas Gabalier and Christina Stürmer.
