Did you know...?
- The multi-talented Tyrolean is known for his numerous hits far beyond the borders.
- Before he began his musical career, he was an internationally renowned skier. Between 1973 and 1977, he scored six World Cup victories in slalom and giant slalom. In 1994 he had his first appearance on TV at the “Musikantenstadl” and with the chart victory of his debut single, “Du hast mich heute noch nicht geküsst” he had his breakthrough as a folk singer. “I am fortunate to be able to bring love for nature and our mountains close to the people with music” says Hansi Hinterseer. This is reflected not only with well over 5 million albums sold, through full concert halls and his TV shows but also gold, platinum and the title of “Crown of Folk Music” (six times).
- His legendary Open Air Concerts reached cult status with the fan hike in Kitzbühel, to which he invited his fans for over ten years to his hometown. The sitting for the waxwork was held in the Tyrol in July 2013.
